“The more I practice gratitude, the more I see how much there is to be grateful for.”
Although I didn’t get to be with my family in Peachtree City, Georgia this year for Thanksgiving, I’m so thankful for them. I’m thankful for my little family above. I’m thankful for my amazing friends. I have so much gratitude for who they are for me. I’m also really thankful for each of you. I love hanging out with you here, sharing info with you, getting your feedback and questions, and being inspired by you.
I’ve been thinking about gratitude a lot lately. In fact practicing it more is really making a difference to me. I even looked up how many different benefits there are for having more gratitude and thankfulness every day. Here’s the list:
Mental – increased happiness, reduced stress & anxiety, improved mental clarity, and greater resilience
Emotional – better relationships, more self-worth, more optimistic, and improved emotional regulation
Physical – better sleep, stronger immune system, lower blood pressure, and increased energy levels
Spiritual & Social – higher sense of purpose, greater generosity, and community connection (more about this one soon…)
Tips for Your Daily Gratitude Practice
- Gratitude Journal: Write three things you’re grateful for each day.
- Express Thanks: Tell someone you appreciate them.
- Gratitude Meditation: Reflect on positive moments during your day.
- Mindful Appreciation: Pause to appreciate simple joys, like a nice meal or a kind gesture.
And practicing this rewires your brain for even more happiness. Can’t have too much of that! Why don’t you join me in some more daily gratitude and happiness. 😍
